The tourist infrastructure of Zhlobin district is formed by: 3 agro-eco-estates, 3 hotels; 1 hunter's and fisherman's house; 1 hunting estate; 1 health resort and recreation organization; 25 state, private and foreign organizations providing tourist and excursion services; 3 roadside service facilities; 121 catering facilities; 5 tourist camps; 48 historical, archeological, architectural and cultural monuments included in the State List of Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Belarus; 2 natural monuments of republican significance.
The priority types of tourism for Zhlobin district are: health and wellness, agro-eco-tourism, cultural and educational, ecological, and sports.
Agro-eco-tourism
Rest with national flavor in the territory of Zhlobin district of the year is provided by 3 agro-eco-estates, which introduce the history of the land, traditions and customs of local residents.
For lovers of active recreation, the agroeco-estates of the region provide the following services: accommodation, meals, holding celebrations, holidays and events, fishing, quad biking, sports equipment rental, swimming pool, billiards, washhouse.
By the decision of Zhlobin District Executive Committee, a permanent Zhlobin District Commission for the implementation of a comprehensive objective assessment of agro-eco-estates (hereinafter referred to as the Commission) was created.
Thus, for the current period of 2023, the “one window” service of Zhlobin District Executive Committee accepted 6 applications from agro-eco-tourism entities, 5 of which were positively decided by the commission and 1 of them was negative. After filing a notice of termination of activities, 3 agro-eco-tourism entities ceased work in agro-eco-tourism.

To promote domestic tourism and in honor of World Tourism Day, the agro-eco-estate " At Borisovich`s " held an open day on September 27, 2023.
Also on the territory of Zhlobin district, in Shikhov village, there is a recreation center "Dneprovskie Zori" (“Dnieper Dawn”) which provides the following services: fishing, hiking or cycling in the forest, youth, corporate recreation, holding celebrations and holidays, holding tourist rallies, seminars, accommodation, meals.
Medical and health-improving
Health services in the district are provided by the municipal unitary enterprise children's rehabilitation and health center "Praleska", located in Tsuper village, Zhlobin district.
Children's Health and Recreation Center “Praleska” is a specialized year-round health resort institution for children living in areas affected by Chernobyl nuclear power plant disaster, where about 6,000 children receive health improvement treatment every year.
Sports
Zhlobin district has a rich sports component, which is represented by 4 specialized educational and sports institutions.

This enables the district to host and hold events of various levels. During the past period of 2023, the following large-scale events were held: II CIS Games, sports and cultural festival "Vytoki. A Step to Olympus", National sports and athletic meetings of schoolchildren - 2023 in swimming, volleyball and ice hockey. Support for initiatives and assistance in holding open district tournaments (in boxing in memory of boxing coach and teacher A. Akhmetov, in volleyball among veterans in memory of G.Sushkevich, G. Parkhomenko), the XIII international tournament of Belarusian Physical Culture and Sports Society “Dynamo” in Greco-Roman wrestling among young men born in 2008-2009, dedicated to the memory of the employee of the Special Anti-Terrorism Unit "Almaz" of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, police captain Narmaniya Shota and others.
Additionally, to attract foreign tourists and increase the export of tourism services during the II CIS Games, a zone with a presentation of the tourism potential of Zhlobin district was open for two days at the fan zone, where tourists were given informational material in the form of booklets, business cards, brochures, and the main exporters of the district were presented.
Such a huge number of sporting events serves to develop domestic and inbound tourism. There are hotels in the immediate vicinity of the sports facilities: "Dneprovskaya Zhemchuzhina", "Slavinasport", "Slavyanskaya" with the possibility of simultaneous accommodation of about 200 people.
Over the past period of 2023, hotels have received about 7,000 thousand tourists
Ecological
The State Nature Conservation Institution "Republican Landscape Reserve "Smychok" is located on the territory of Zhlobin and Rechitsa districts, near Nizhnyaya Olba village, 35 kilometers from Zhlobin city. With a total area of 2,635 hectares, it was established on September 27, 2000, in order to preserve a unique natural complex in its natural state with populations of rare and endangered species of plants and animals listed in the Red Book of the Republic of Belarus. The reserve is located on the territory between the Berezina and Dnieper rivers with natural meadow-floodplain, oxbow-lake and coastal-channel natural complexes, 35% of which is occupied by forests.
Ecological trail "Barvinka" of the State Nature Conservation Institution "Republican Landscape Reserve "Smychok", 4.5 km long. The route starts from the first parking lot of the reserve to Lake Prorov, the confluence with the Dnieper and back to the reserve.
Green water-loop route along the Dnieper and Berezina rivers, with an exit to Lake Plotichnoye, State Nature Conservation Institution "Republican Landscape Reserve "Smychok", 18 km long.
The water ecological route “The Dnieper-Berezina bend on the way from the Varangians to the Greeks" of the State Nature Conservation Institution "Republican Landscape Reserve "Smychok", 9 km long. The route from the reserve itself downstream the Dnieper River to the confluence with the Berezina River and back to the reserve.
Private social and environmental institution "Development of beekeeping" APIMIR" is a non-profit organization created on March 16, 2020. The activities of the institution are aimed at developing beekeeping in the Republic of Belarus, popularizing beekeeping products and helping the population organize apiaries.
Equestrian Club “Sava” offers horse riding training, exciting horseback riding tours through picturesque places, and horses for photo sessions.
Cultural and educational
Krasny Bereg, a settlement 20 km northwest from Zhlobin, is one of the attractions united in the tourist route "Golden Ring of Gomel Region". Here are located the "Manor and Park Complex of the 19th Century of the Kozel-Poklevskys", included in the list of historical and cultural heritage of the republic and the only memorial in the CIS "To Children - Victims of War".
The State Cultural Institution "Zhlobin Museum of History and Local Lore" was founded in Zhlobin in September 1987 as a result of the reorganization of the public Museum of People's Glory. It was opened for visitors on 15.02.1992. The main object of the museum's exposition is the history of the city and the district. The museum plays the role of a scientific, cultural, educational and methodological center of museum business in Zhlobin district; it helps to introduce people to the national and universal heritage, and serves the education and self-education of citizens. The museum has 16 exhibition halls: archeology, ethnography, development of the railway, revolution, the Great Patriotic War, religion in Zhlobin land, a children's hall, etc. In addition to the exposition, Zhlobin Museum has an art gallery, an exhibition hall, a music salon, and a lecture hall.
In February 2022, a tour guide was certified. At the moment, there are 2 certified tour guides in the district (Certification of 2 more tour guides is planned for 2023 and early 2024).
At the moment, there are 3 tourist routes in the region ("Zhlobin ancient and modern", "Zhlobin land... from the past to the modern", "Between the Dnieper and the Berezina. Historical journey through Zhlobin land")
The parish of the Temple of All Saints in at. Pirevichi, Zhlobin district, is one of the most beautiful and majestic in Belarus. It is built of red brick. The interior area of the temple is almost 500 square meters, the thickness of the walls is more than one meter. Here is the largest altar in Gomel diocese. The church has ideal acoustics. It was built in 1902 in the neo-Russian or "Moscow style". Pirevichi Church is one of the architectural monuments of Belarus.
The Holy Protection Church in Streshin This majestic temple was built in 1807 and is a monument of classical architecture. According to some historical facts, Count Osterman-Tolstoy, who was granted the place by Empress Catherine II for his military services in the Russian-Turkish War of 1787-1791, had a hand in the construction of the temple.
The church on the outskirts of the urban settlement is built of brick in the shape of an equal-sized cross. Archival documents indicate that only three similar buildings were erected in Europe. Only one has survived to this day – the Holy Protection Church in Streshin.
The church was famous for its frescoes, highly artistic carving of the iconostasis, and mosaic floor. The heating system of the church remains unknown to contemporaries.
Nostalgic
In 2023, in 4 significant places, in order to popularize domestic and inbound tourism, information boards with a QR code were installed (the memorial complex "To Children-Victims of War", a monument to the underground group of G. Baranov, a grave in memory of victims of fascism, an obelisk to the soldiers of the 63rd Rifle Corps)
Also in September, 4 new routes were developed to places of military glory (“Zhlobin – Shchedrin “Living reality, living pain”, “Zhlobin – Krasny Bereg – Ola”, “Zhlobin – Krasny Bereg “In our hearts”, “Zhlobin – v. Staraya Rudnya “Along the battlefields of the 63rd Rifle Corps”).

Hunting
Hunting and hunting tours in Zhlobin district are organized by: State Forestry Institution "Zhlobin Forestry" and Zhlobin DOS "Republican State-Public Association "Belarusian Society of Hunters and Fishermen".
On the territory of the district, there is the Hunter's and Fisherman's House in Tsuper village and the Hunting Estate "Grange Belcho" located on the bank of the Berezina River. The complex consists of cozy houses designed to accommodate from 4 to 10 people. The houses are decorated in different styles: Finnish, Norwegian, chalet, Provence, half-timbering.
Various New Year events are also held at the Hunting Estate "Grange Belcho". The work of the district residence of Father Frost is organized.
Work on promoting Internet resources and expanding influence on the Internet. All subjects of the tourism industry of Zhlobin district are widely represented in the media, social networks and messengers. The number of subscribers on the main page for the representation of the tourism industry of Zhlobin district in the social network INSTAGRAM (zhlobin_travel) currently amounts to more than 1,300 people.
Tourist entities of Zhlobin district annually take part in the tourist review-competition "Discover Belarus", which have repeatedly become winners and prize-winners in various nominations.
